Etienne Decludt, Architect DESA*, was born and raised in Paris, France, where he trained at the Ecole Spéciale D’Architecture. He then moved to Los Angeles and has been involved in the Hospitality and Residential Interior Design field for more than 25 years.
His extensive work, spanning more than 10 years as a Senior Associate with HBA, Los Angeles, included the Marina Beach Hotel, Design work on the Beverly Hills Hotel, the InterContinental Hotel in Tokyo, the Pan Pacific Hotel Yokohama and the Delta Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
in 2000, Etienne established Dekloo & Co. where his projects have been a mixture of residential projects in the Los Angeles area as well as hospitality projects in Japan and Abu Dhabi.
In 2012 , Etienne joined the Gold Mantis Group, in Suzhou, China, as an Interior Design Consultant. Etienne’s work, in China, included an Art Hotel in Xiamen, a Sheraton Project in Zangzhou, two 5 star Hotels in Nanjing, and residential projects.
Etienne and his wife moved to the Coachella Valley last year .
Etienne oversees every project from start to finish and his main focus is the design concept and overall planning phase of each project as well as the realization of the design.
His background and worldly exposure have given Etienne a full respect for the various expectations and cultural expressions that every Client brings to their project.
